I just got back from the screening at Warner Brothers. It was a nice event. You get to see the studio and the trailers for the actors from Pushing Daisies (though I have to admit I don't know anything about the show). The theater is right next to the street I believe they used for Blade Runner. I got checked in and received another spinner keychain.

I was about an hour early so I sat in the second row behind the roped off seats. By showtime the theater which is very nice, was almost filled though there were some empty seats. Charles de Lauzirika came out and introduced Paul who then came out with his wife and two daughters. Paul is severely affected by his illness and has trouble with his motor skills so his wife thanked everyone for donating. His daughters are adorable and I was really choked up seeing her crying as she thanked everyone while the girls were up there as well.

They screened the movie which looked and sounded great.

Then they came back for a panel and had: Ridley Scott, Joanna Cassidy, Peoples and Fancher, Syd Mead, the actress who was to play the other replicant that they never filmed, Tom Southwell (I know I'm doing a terrible job of spelling names). Someone from the BR partnership (I will get the name),

I got to ask two questions: Is there a metal badge in the wallet ? Was the Johnny Walker bottle made or found? NO BADGE. Charles asked if I was familiar with Propsummit and that was a nice shout-out. No answer on the bottle. They mostly focused on the fact that it was real Johnny Walker Red in the bottles.

They showed a great White Dragon sign from the set that they will be auctioning off in the near future. Get your wallets ready.

They thanked the high bidders who were going on the tour with Ridley after the screening. One flew in from Maine and one from England Ridleyville??? The grand prize for the highest bidder was to be a John Alvin poster donated from Sideshow collectibles.

That was it. A few people ran up to get some autographs, but I think Ridley only did one or two.

It was a very nice event clearly for a very good cause. Keep an eye on Paulsbraintrust.com for some more upcoming auctions apparently.

Ridley Scott throws the f-bomb around liberally.

If you read earlier posts on this site, Charlie, Art Shippe and Tom Southwell had already stated that there was no badge. I interviewed them myself. Smile

Also, Art Shippee as well as Charlie had stated earlier that the bottle was a found item from a store.

Curious them not replying to your Bottle question...was the mention of Propsummit the response they gave?
If so, it could mean that they are aware of the project...!

Charles is certainly aware as a member here. He is a big BR fan in the truest sense, he frequents all of the boards almost as much as I do. So yes, we are being watched Shocked Smile

Charles is the one who mentioned propsummit. I assume with both of my questions he figured I would have to be a regular reader here.

Having seen the thread about prepping questions for Ridley for our event, I was actually going to ask about the badge and bottle myself, so I'm glad you beat me to it. Smile

One thing to remember, especially about the bottle, it's been over 25 years. Some memories are lost in time like tears in...well, you know. If I ever come across any relevant info, I'll be happy to share. But I haven't as of yet.

But at least the mystery of the badge has been put to rest, once and for all.

Unfortunately it was not me but if it had been remotely possible i would have been there, it was a work commitment that i could not get out of.

With regards to the bottle question i did post the 2 replies i got from Johnny Walker on the Bottle post some time ago.

JW Red!! Not the Black label stuff? Just cheapo Red?!
I would also like to know how many times they had to film shots where Deckard drinks JW. Cool

In an Interview on Blade Zone I believe Linda De Scienna(sp?) stated that Harrison was a bit drunk on the stuff on the last day of shooting the rooftop scenes.
