				| Hello all- I've been lurking on the site for a while, not posting but definitely admiring everyones amazing projects. When I saw the PKD squirt gun selling for less than $50 (this was a few months ago), I thought I would have my chance to paint up a screen replica. It's a great casting, much better and more affordable than some of the resin casts I have seen on ebay. But since I wanted a prop closer to screen accurate, I had to do some fairly major surgery on it - I drilled out the barrel, pulled out the guts (it wasn't a very good squirt gun, anyway), and filled it with plaster to add weight. In retrospect, the plaster wasn't the best idea. It was gooey and messy for about a month. I then pulled off the grips and made molds and cast them in amber resin. I drilled out the grips, found proper hex-heads to hold the new ones on, filled the handle with bondo and sanded it down, painted and weathered the thing, and now I've finally got a PKD! It's my first attempt at this, let me know what you guys think!
