Out of curiosity:
Has anyone tried their hand at the blaster version (fan fiction, as he himself calls it) made by Bill Doran at Punished Props?

I've bought the files and am now looking for a 3D printing service to print them out, and I'm quite looking forward to it.

Actually, I find the version depicted on the assembly guide really interesting, like a Spinner issue.

I'll probably just go with two versions.

What do you think of his re-imagining?

Saw it a few weeks ago and like it for its boxy look. Color is interesting also.
