(a.k.a "What do you mean, knock-off? How dare you, sir? It's a completely different colour!")

Hey, all!

I thought I'd share some photos of what has been on my bench lately.

Yes, it's a rip-off, but I had real fun trying it out since I had a broken airsoft revolver lying about.
Actually, I will give it another go with a new, functional airsoft revolver, this time in black and with the battery pack in its proper location.

The little front LED below the barrel is supposed to be a camera. I like the idea that it may be connected to the user via glasses or a brain implant so that one could actually use it for aim or sneak around corners or something like that.

There's still some more detailing to do before I can clean up the seams and paint it. Not sure whether I should leave the Walther logo on the left side of the gun intact, however. What do you think?

Cheers,

Jens

Well that is certainly interesting. I've got a first gen P99, great gun. I'd leave the logo in the spirit of the PDK. That handle looks similar to the colt Matsuo used for the BSG S1 blaster ?

I think the airsoft design is that of the Smith & Wesson Model 66:

It looks very similar to the actual toy gun:

According to the IMFDB, the base for the BSG blaster was a S&W Model 686.
