Anyone has any information on this particular prop?
Is that thing that shakes and laughs when Deckard is searching for Pris in Sebastian's apartment. It kind of looks like a Jack in the Box to me, but is hard to see in the scene.

I have a vague memory of somebody identifying this thing a few years back.
Not very helpful, I know. |

Wow, thanks!!!
I guess they slowed down the laugh for extra creepy effect.
I think the mechanism could be pretty simple, probably a motor with a vertical rod inside the body of the puppet to make it shake around.
It would be funny to build one and add a motion-detector that activates it when someone enters the room. _________________

I think it's a variation on the Laughing Sailor. This one has a goatee and a cigar in his right hand. Costume seems to be fitting the '20s up until the '40s. |
