I have actually found what I thought to be the identical bottle on Ebay but, upon asking the seller what the height was, found out it was too small. Confused

I love these designs... Did you think about doing a design for the neck of the bottle?

That is the bottle. A newer version from the same molds maybe. The older ones seem to be made of clearer glass and have less distortion in them, but this is the right bottle design and is what you are looking for.

Yes, the color annoys me... It's greenish... But then again it's not that bad...

I found these as well, looks like there are two correct bottles in every set and from the pictures they seem to be quite clear. But WHY can I only buy 12 bottles?!

I have seen the newer greenish ones at craft and art stores. I still find the older style at thrift and garage sales.

Great find. Interestingly enough, I see they are not recommended for use with food and/or drink - possibly they could contain lead? You might want to take caution when handling them...

I also want to be sure you ask them before you buy that the bottle do not have the green tint to them. It is possible it is an old photo they never thought about updating. I think because of the use of recycled glass, many of these bottles more and more will have a green tint. Some people like the tint thinking it makes it seem older and more colorful. IIRC they only separate out the dark brown glass because it can be done with a laser or light meter on a conveyor belt. I think the brown is more expensive too. Green bottle might be attempted to separated out, but I suspect they are much clearer than the brown and pass the light test. The more exacting the separation the more cost over all and thus the glass is less likely to be used by companies making them for cheap crafter bottles. Not sure how many companies also make these bottles, but we always called them the Spanish bottles because many of the early ones had made in Spain labels on them.

Buch how did you come across your Bryant whisky shot glass, is there a particular name for the style of glass.
I'm try into find one and wondered if there was a certain search term I could use to narrow it down ?

I got mine when I bought my OB JW bottle....

I believe you can find them on eBay if you search for vintage heavy shot glass.... Perhaps others will chime in?
