Yes... a lot of money to spend on one item, hence I would pay by VISA card (As VISA usually has a purchase Guarantee 'buyer protection policy'), or pay Via Paypal. Get as much detailed info of the purchase before payment for your records.
The basic model comes with windows and windscreen that (according to the Translation of the Japanese writing description) are of "clear urethane resin material"....?styrene or polycarb?? . The acrylic screen and windows are optional replacements that are hand-made, crystal clear parts....but why so expensive for this relatively smallish part alone?...
I was keen to get this Spinner...but alas it is outside budget. |

Seems like all cool products (and especially the Japanese stuff) that interest me share two common characteristics - they're completely unaffordable and they're always sold out.. Why is that anyway? |

YES...the website you are referring to says SOLD OUT. However, Roswell are selling these in what they refer to as "PHASES". The first sales phase which was for the kit and fully built version was in April/May 2014. They say that there will be another "PHASE" where these will be available, in NOVEMBER 2014. So, if you go to the Roswell website and ask them directly via their email system, they should be able to clarify this "second phase" preorder...and clarify as to what is happening with the ordering, models available, options and costs. The info I got was on the Roswell website when I did a Google Translation on the Japanese writing. The best way is to email them directly to see if you can be placed in the next phase etc.
I was interested, but as I said before the cost is too high for me.

Well the buyers in Japan will pay very high prices and the companies that sell to them can thus charge high prices and with limited runs sell out.
WISH my US Market was like that, I could retire in a few years if i had buyers like that...
BUT we are less prone to over paying. Myself included.

....maybe try emailing again.
I emailed them probably two or three times and always got a reply from them. I emailed them once about this spinner replica with a question back in Feb/March this year, and I got a reply within a few days.
EDIT: Some more links......

http://www.roswell.co.jp/fpc44/fpc44ord.html
http://www.roswell.co.jp/fpc44/fpc44_2.html
Roswell's SPINNER kit or fully built options list /price list and order details...
In Japanese though. Looks like the price of a fully built version varies between $3000 to $4000 to the fully optioned, open doors etc. etc. costing over $5000. Yikes.
The unpainted kit also looks cool...not cheap though. |

That looks absolutely amazing!!! I've heard something about a second run, but don't know if it's been confirmed by Roswell, would LOVE to have one of these... The price is.... pricey though! _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

They were supposed to do a second run next month, right? They didn't release any info on facebook, just pictures. |

IIRC the new run should be this November.... The last run was sold out before it was availiable online, so I guess best chance is to contact them directley and get on the "special" list, but that's how it usually works with these kinds of products... Weird, I can't find it on their webpage anymore... _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

I sent them a private message on facebook. I'll let you know if they get back to me, but they don't seem too keen on communicating with potential custommers, they don't even reply to the comments on the pictures they post... |

Got a message from Roswell today....... They don't ship overseas................................................
I've encountered several online sellers that don't do this, can anybody tell me why that is? _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

a kit that is breakable? all kits are prone to get damaged, you just need carefull packing, the same as if it was shipped to a city in Japan... |
