Here are some shots I took from my Blu-ray, with a camera since I cannot 'screen-grab', of the signage used in the new movie. As I've continued researching these signs, I can see from 'Alien' behind-the-scenes pictures that they appeared in some cases to have been placards that were hastily affixed -- for visual reasons --- to areas above/beside hatchways for looks and not necessarily as functional as would be on a real spacecraft.
I have been thinking of the best means of printing Cobb's signage onto foam board and rounding the corners, but that's not going to be very uniform in appearance. Have considered cadging a few of those small paint swatches, some with rounded corners, and using labels to make some neat (but smaller) signage around my study.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
These shown below in 'Prometheus' appeared to have been rather more integrated in the set design.
At any rate: here they are for your viewing pleasure.

TFS that with us...yeah, there's a few ways to repro those signs, but I don't see an easy way to do it with minimum of material or machine.
Sign print shops would be able to do it (depends on the size of course and the medium)... |

Hello, all!
I have tried my hand at a quick reproduction of the pics for your perusal.
These are a first try, so, if you notice any details that need to be changed, please let me know.
Cheers!

Could not resist doing my favourite one from the original Cobb signs (I find it outrageously funny):
It needs another font, though.
Cheers! |

So that's a shot from the blu-ray behind the scenes?
Has anyone seen any of those symbols in the film itself? I've been watching (and redrawing!) all the stickers that go by on Propstore, and none of them look anything like this.
Doesn't mean they don't exist, of course! _________________ Mike
