Following on from my Police Car 27 build I'm building a diorama base to display it on.
I've come up with an idea for a traffic island featuring one of those streetlight/TV monitor masts along with some kind of generator assembly.
One thing I've had a lot of success with in the past is using found objects decorated with surplus kit parts.
A favourite object I like to use is an empty printer cartridge....
Using Plastic Weld cement I've started to decorate it with kit parts....

To get an idea of where this is going, here are some previous cartridge conversions I did for another diorama....
Generator....
Fire cart....
Not from a cartridge but here's a hydraulic jack scratched from scrap parts...
More of the traffic island coming up..... |

Genius! I always thought an ink cartridge would make a fine base for something. Some fine examples of it's potential _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |

Love all of it, but the generator kicks asses (I guess a generator has to kick something ) I love the way you create the used look on these |
