I have discovered in the DVD "Dangerous Days," the making of Blade Runner this picture:

It shows how Ridley Scott, he keeps the blaster.
(The picture quality is not good, because I have photographed directly from the TV screen, sorry about that)
It is clear to see that the butt-plate still does not have the characteristic scratches and abrasions as they are seen at the Worldcon photos by Karl Tate.
So I think that these have arisen in the course of filming.
Or even after the end of the movie, after all, was the "screw" later replaced.
What do you think?

I think some of the characteristic scratches are there during filming - there's a lobby card shot with Deckard and the gun in his speed holster and you can clearly see scratches of some kind. There is also some visible discoloration on the gun there. I don't think any of it is as bad as the worldcon damage, tho. There's a lot of years - and who knows, possibly mileage - between production and 2006.

It's an interesting pic for sure Gero...It's odd that the butt plate is almost in a pristine state in this screen grab. Confused Could someone shed a light on the order of principal photography? At which point into the filming process that picture could've been taken (U.S. or U.K). Anybody saw problems with continuity shots?
