				| As any proper Ridley Scott enthusiast knows, he spent a great deal of his career before - and between - his film projects making TV ads... thousands of them!
Around the period in which he made Alien and Blade Runner, he was contracted to make a series of big-budget, high profile ads for Chanel. These ads show Scott at the absolute top of his game - beautifully shot, perfectly chosen music and a genuinely timeless quality.

I recently found these in superb quality on a French movie site, and thought they might be of interest here (the first in particular, which uses a Vangelis piece for its soundtrack). The (limited) voice-overs are consequently the French versions, but if you don't follow them you're not missing much at all!

 The Pool

 The Garden

 The Star

 Monuments

				| great find Jonno.
i didn't realize there were French versions ... the one you titled 'Garden' is, i believe, the same as the English one i have had flagged for years as "Share the Fantasy" ... i remember seeing it often on TV as a kid and think he actually said somewhere it was his inspiration for BR. the commercial has the woman walking to camera with lighting and mood strangely similar to Rachel's introduction.

 thanks for sharing!

				| Oh yeah...bringing back memories for sure: thanks Jonno for those. The Ridley list of things to have in a commercial/film are all here.
As you mentioned the intro for the Garden is very Rachael entering Tyrell's meeting room...did I mention also the pool and the water reflections. Btw it's the French actress Carole Bouquet in some of those commercials
