If you're thinking of making yourself a Nostromo jacket, you might be interested in this.
This is a computer-cut Nostromo logo in heat-sensitive material, ready to iron onto the back of your jacket. The shape and colour have been matched as closely as possible to actual screen-used items.
That's one in the photograph, as worn recently at Dragon*Con.
The sheet also has a couple of relevant logos, mostly to give you something with which to practise. Instructions are provided.
Alternatively, if you have a leather jacket and you wish to paint the logo, you might need this:
Self-adhesive vinyl stencil, which you can stick (temporarily) onto your jacket and then paint through.

It might be worth noting that these iron ons and stencils are extremely accurate, based as they are on examination of screenused costumes.
