| Can anyone here possibly give me some step by step instructions on how to swap out the plastic Tomenosuke cylinder for a steel one? My project has kinda been stuck on hold for quite a while because of this. I just cannot figure out how to get the plastic cylinder out of there. Any ideas or tips? |

| Unscrew front facing part of cylinder rod. Should slide off after that. |

The cylinder assembly is all held on by the small, but long, domed cap-nut piece .. but if its jammed slightly like mine was, then finger pressure alone wont make it turn. Be sure to use a soft cloth and some gentle turning pressure (anti-clockwise) with pliers or similar.
Once its free it just crews off easily and the whole assembly just comes out .. super simple but if that cap nut wont budge it seems impossible. |
