That was Peter Boyles best film ever in my opinion, he was a complete A-hole villain.. superb acting...

James B. Sikking as "Montone" was also great, They actually outshined Connery... Shocked Wonderful acting....

Oh, c'mon, Peter Boyle's best film ever was Young Frankenstein, how could you think otherwise?!?

He did play a very good villain in Outland, and Sikking was great as well. And Sternhagen as the bitchy old doctor was a great performance too. It's too bad though many Sci-Fi movies of this era (the early to mid 80's) got bad reviews and so never got the exposure that they deserved. I guess that could also be due to the fact that there were so many bad Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies released during the same time period - anyone remember Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn? I actually remember seeing this piece of crap in the theatre in 3D no less - that would have been in '83. Richard Moll was one of the star actors in it and he went on to act in a couple of other stinkers before going back mostly to TV roles.

ha ha ha I forgot all about that one I remember going to see that.. it was horrible. It looked so cool in the trailers that were in theaters, kind of mad max looking, but wow was it awful..even the 3D made it worse.. and that's pretty bad

I think the only problem with the part was that I think the kid was older than the role he was actually playing.. so what we got was a probably 10 year old kid acting 5.. He seemed a little stunted ha ha!

Hi JT - I've only just noticed this thread. Embarassed

Was wondering whether you'd spotted the Millennium Falcon parts on the shuttle?
