More or less but this is true with any product and model.

He wants a cheap solid cast recreation of a stunt blaster.

I wanted to offer a much more complext model that had working features...

Also I am going ahead with my version as talked about and in the pictures...

Order if you want a great customiseable model or not.

Price is $125.00 for the stunt kit and $150.00 for the hero version.

As I said, I can not win the race for cheapest model

Check this one out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110607662161&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

Right now it is $14.99

That looks like garbage. I would gladly pay for something that is quality. For all of the pieces you listed, 125.00 seems reasonable.

Well like you said yourself, You did this version of the kit before at this price and nobody bought them. Maybe some people will this time. Who knows? Still there is a market for a low cost, and not necessarily the cheapest, that would sell huge. I see requests for it almost every day, and almost all of them balk once the price goes near $100. So I guess you will just be helping out the recasters then by not entering their market and leaving it all to them. Instead you will spend a bunch of time and effort to make a model that you already say has problems selling. Good luck with that. You can lead a horse to water....

And some never listen....

Making a one piece casting only helps the recasters, it is right up their alley...making a complex model slows them down.

I said it did not sell as well as I would like it to and got in the way of make the bigger models...

And that WAS years ago...so now a days a run of 10 to 20 is a good thing.

I have proven this to myself many times, the low buck models make little money, and often do not sell well...and often take time away from better paying models...

I did a run of 20 Space Ships that we sold for $40.00 and they stopped me from making a run of 10 $300.00 models, my time was not well spent.

( I made $800.00 inplace of $3000.00)

Giving my time and models away for low or no profit is a waste of my hard earned time.

So unless you can guarantee me 1000 orders to make up the time and lost income from work better doneā€¦drop it will you.

This one and the one pointed last page are both recasts of the old early 80's Oz Shop gun. I have an original Oz shop and one of the Comet Miniatures recasts of it. They are bigger than Rick Ross's PKD-1 and Magnums. Almost comically large.

I know but it shows what I was saying and it is a Blade Runner Model, a cheap model and very wrong.

And lastly my supplies are going up as well..

Pewter that was $10.00 per pound has gone up the $15.26 per pound that is a 50% rise in price....

RTV that was $435.00 now cost $540.00. (per 5 gallions.)

This in the last year alone.

Note the two ammo clips, one for the stunt casting and one for a hero model.

So order now!!!
