It is good to think that the ship (okay, even if we only do see the landing leg here) will probably have similar design elements of Nostromo. I am looking forward to the movie even if it's just to see what new designs (Ship, Costume, Space Jockey) they have come up with.

I was just talking about the impression left after looking at this photo, not the whole film of course ! This doesn't mean I won't love the film or that the design of their new ship wil be crappy or cheap... but I must admit that I'm more than surprised by the lack of surface details on the walls in this photo, compared to what we had on the Nostromo... I thought the designs of the suits in the Prometheus trailer reminded me of something I'd seen? very similar design? saw this film about 10 years ago late on TNT, it was bought for a western audiences by Roger Corman and re edited with schlocky monster footage and renamed, "Voyage to the Prehistoric planet" (1965) then "Voyage to the Planet of the Prehistoric Women" in (1968) by Peter Bogdanovitch of all people.
