The model is: the barrel, barrel lock, main body, trigger, switch, LEDs, battery holder, grip and any other small parts...needed, at this point unknown..

I can say I tried to cast metal barrels and out of 5 tries did not get one...of the Leon's Gun.

I think I will have cast them with 1/2 barrels and drill them the rest of the way...

I did ajust the metal kit price...

Fred,..You rock and thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich
I tried a link for the Real Cop and it would not work. Just go to Gunbroker.com and type in COP .357 It will come right up. I think it was around $750

As far as price,..Don't misunderstand me. I love you dearly and my Blaster of yours is one of my favorite props. I'm also not saying it's not worth it. I was just saying I was hoping it would be less since it's a lot simpler than the blaster and I am beyond broke.

Having said that I really appreciate the lower price on the metal kit and please put me down for one metal kit. I will sell blood if I have to.

Take your time. Between you and relicmaker I need time to save.

GREAT-
well I def. plan on being all in for a metal kit...and I like the ideas about matching it up better with the other piece. But man, the blue LED and woodgrain is sharp-looking!

I would just hope making the LED red doesn't wash out too much with an amber handle. Kind of seems like only switching one or the other might be best. A blue LED or even the wood grip might keep this gun with its own identity...but maybe that's not the point. Just food for thought.

And lastly, can we somehow ensure that the amber body stays deep in color? I hate the cheaper versions where it's almost yellow, or too transparent. The original may have been- but the film's so lowly lit, it never looks that bright! If that makes sense.

Can't wait to get one of these!

Well there is the option of "other" colored grips...

Amber is only the main color.

Black, red, perhaps a brown (a start for a wood grain grip..)

And a special deeper color amber is possable..I just add more color.

I like that...but I'm okay with majority rules too. Just wanted to throw in my two cents!

Maybe Blue light in the grip and red elsewhere????????????????????

I think one thing that affects the amber is the black grip frame in the center between the two haves.

I definatley want my grips to match the grips on my Coyle Blaster.

Anythoughts about a red light on the bottom of the barrel and or a lighted site rod. I'm gonna order a sight rod from Rich, light it and mount it on the left side just above the thumb.

What about Blue in the grip attached to the push button like Fred has. That's the "safety". A red light on the bottom of the barrell and a lit sight rod. The red light and site rod hooked to a switch like on the blaster so they can stay on

I really don't think there should be too many lights incorporated in this gun, it wouldn't be believable for a weapon of this size, don't you agree ?
(I hate the "christmas tree look" that could result in using too many lights in such a small prop)

I think we should stay with ONE light.

Red is fine, it will remind us of the real BR blaster.

BTW, if you keep the idea of the amber grips (and I like this idea a lot), I think you should maybe extend the metal butt plate to their lower part, otherwise the led itself will be visible through it, know what I mean ?

Here is a quick sketch :

What do you think, guys ?

Fred

I also like it...

I am thinking a clear plastic ring in the gap that can then be lighted to glow.

I hope we do keep the Amber Grips since that was kinda the whole point. So Rich could match it to the new Blaster.

As far as lights whatever you all think is fine. I still think one red light under the barrel and a lit sight rod would look cool but I can always add that myself.

Just FYI I talked to Phil about a holster but it won't happen. He said it was just to expensive for a small run. I was wanting a holster that matched the color and stitching of the Blaster holster.
