Well, we posted that some parts were lost and that I reshipped parts.

At this time a couple of months later I can not figure out if I forgot them, customs stole or misplaced them or what.

BUT this is what was missing.

6 Sets Electronic Parts:

6 X 2 Green LEDs

6 X 4 Red LEDS

6 Large red LEDs.

6 Switches

6 Battery holders

6 long white/gray wires

6 short white/gray wire

6 red/brown wire

6 black wires

6 X 3 small shrink tubes

6 X 2 large shrink tubes

These were in small baggies.

Metal Parts:

6 F.Trigger

6 R.Trigger

6 Hammer

6 Safety

6 Sight Rods

6 Weaver Knobs

6 Binding Posts

Again small bags.

Plastic Parts:

6 Ammo Housing

6 ammo magazine

6 x Plaques numbered 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37

I have been using US Mail via Royal Post to John.

A couple of the early shippments had parts go missing.

Then we had no problems with the last 5 shippments, then this.

The above parts are on their way.

We posted adn talked with many and most wanted to get started with what John had on hand and were told about the following mailing of these parts.

Sorry but I did not contact you personally, but please read a couple of post above yours and you will see we were posting about this malfuction...

Last word I got from John was he had emailed everyone and said he would ship what he had and mail you the missing parts free when they came in.

The missing barrel, bulldog etc, I don't know what is happening, I will contact John and please do so your self.

My best guess is he mailed you two packages so not to have trouble with customs...

Rich

PS I have emailed John about your post.

Again sorry about these problems, International is becoming so much fun now a days.

OK for those with kits and for those thinking of ordering a kit here are the parts:

Please check your kits for all of these parts and note what is being shipped to replace the listed missing parts.

thanks for the update, I'll check what I've received.

Rich, just curious, do you add a note in your parcel about the fact all those things are for props replica and not real fire arms and such.
Customs are picky.
I tend to over detail the contents & explanations to avoid getting things ceased.
I've never lost anything in either one way or the other.

All of that is in John's very capable hands.

He is the one that is getting them pass English Customs.

I think that is not an very satisfying answer for Erv`.

How about replacing parts with holes like my left side cover ?
There are two 1mm holes near the two screw holes .
If you want a picture let me know .
I´m not very happy with that cover .

It should be a good answer as he has had to deal with Europe customs a lot more than I.

We will replace it or as the covers are painted black a little bondo and sanding can fix it.

A little hole behind the screw in the pocket for the screw is correct; the real one had it as well. I have tried to fix it, but IF I make the side cover correctly it opens up again, there is no room for the cylinder.

Please remember John has had to deal with weather caused delays, English customs and his own problems health wise, both his mishap that nearly blinded one eye and illness.

Rich

That´s the spot where the holes are .

Ok let´s see if they are noticable when the cover is painted and on its place on the swing arm .

Well as you can see the real one had one.

The other side cover also has one next to the screw, the weavor knob hides it better.

I have not heard any thing either.

He is most likely waiting for the package with the missing parts to clear customs, it does take a bit of time.
