				| Been a while since I've posted. Figured I'd drop in and share a recent build I did for a buddy of mine.
It ts a Doppelganger PKD Magnum, great kit from Rick as usual.

The build may seem un-remarkable at first but the truth is that this kit came to me already built and painted. It seemed a little worse for wear and the paint was somewhat thick on it obliterating some of the subtle engraving. I had no choice but to completely strip the piece and start over, no small feat in itself.

Also my hatred of glue is legendary so I broke all the bonded joints and replaced them with screws and locator pins.
The grips had a bad offset so I pulled the threaded studs, filled the holes, re drilled and pressed them back in.

The trigger guard was shrunk a bit, I did a bit of fitting and re fitting to make it look right (by my reckoning) and fastened it with screws.

I re wired the LED's and made it so the 'mag' that holds them is held in with a screw.

I drilled and tapped cross pins for the triggers so they would move, I'm still trying to work out a spring loaded mech for them, but theres not a lot of room to work with in there. If for nothing else even if they cant be spring loaded I like to have my triggers float free so they stand less a chance of being broken.

The grips are frosty so short of replacing them theres not a lot I can do.

The colors are worldcon inspired, I wanted it subtle, not too flashy

So here you go... Just so you know I'm not all Pulse Rifles and Galactica blasters.

Thanks for looking hope everyone is well!

				| Matt you are a Master. So how much do you charge to build a PKD? That thing is awesome.
