Hey folks!

I'm doing a run of my own take on Deckards Police ID.
The graphics have been traced over the worldcon prop to ensure maximum accuracy.

Other special features include original Deckard profile photo created by myself, hand cut amber X film overlay, signature at the back created using actual samples of Harrison Fords handwriting (the capital R & D were created by me based on fords autographs)

cool, I've added a list.

The amber film isn't actually amberlith but a non sticky thin amber gel. I couldn't find amberlith anywhere, only the red rubylith. If you fancy selling any andy let me know Wink

I also bought a slot punch, though not sure about using it. The WC ID has a slot punch hole and even the concept art states having a slot punch hole. What do you guys think?

I would be willing to send you some for sure. I am hoping to get more from the guy to make my own, but yours already surpass what I was planning on doing.

As far as the notch, I think only the ones people were wearing had the notch and larger seal area. and the wallet version looks like it would be trimmed closer and not have the notch from what I can tell. So no notch is cool with me.

Paypal sent !

I think Andy is right regarding the slot on the "wallet ID CARD", but I'm still in for the slot on mine, just to add another extra hidden little detail in my Deckard's wallet...

I made my first attempts with and without slots for the clip. Gaff was wearing a clip on in the Blue Room scene where he and Bryant are eavesdropping on Deckard and Holden from the cut scenes. I have a feeling Deckard may have had one as well. Theoretically Wink

yeah I'm begining to think the slot could well have been there. It's possible his ID was made the same as the others with the slot punched in then trimmed down afterwards to slide into the wallet window better.

I added the slot to the prototype and think it really enhances the card, adds that extra bit of functionality Cool

will definately use it on my own one, so it's an option if anyone else wants it in Smile

Any chance you could Put Deckard in a non-film shirt? Even just darken it to take out the tell tale pattern, or is that a sort of joke to say that Deckard had been wearing the same shirt for years? Wink Very Happy

I figured this shirt/tie would be the safer option and it was the easiest to create as there are alot of good references for it. Though to be honest I have a hunch he's wearing the other dark shirt with the black tie in the movie ID.

I kind of wondered if they had him pose for the Polaroid like they did with the others too. It very likely could be one of the movie used shirts, but for some reason it does look like a uniform to me. I wonder if he could have been wearing one of the police shirts for the pic.

looking at the shot of him flashing the ID in the car I'm quite certain it's the dark shirt/black tie. I think he wore this at the begining of production in the end scenes. I'm guessing they probably just snapped a polaroid of him there and then.

I did once think it could be a police shirt, though looking at a few detective ID's they are always wearing their plain clothes in the photos. Also those bright enamle badges on the police shirt collar would be visable.

will set about making these today.

I've changed deckards shirt and tie to the ones I think are in the actual picture. I've also redone the photo making it look more like an old polaroid in consistancy with the worldcon ID photo.
