UPDATE 2/24:
Slight hiccup with this run. Got the base shirts in and the color was aweful!!!! Not at all like what was represented and with heather pattern to boot.
I just shipped them back this afternoon and it will be a bit longer to sort it out and get the new shirts in. Sorry about this and thanks in advance for everyone's patience. |

No problems. For the record I would be okay with a grey base shirt. I think the original was a cool grey, unless it was a faded out blue.

UPDATE 3/8
I have reordered the t-shirts in the correct color. I will have the blanks by the end of the week at which time they will go to the printer. From there it is ususlly a week before I get them back to ship. Please follow my updates. Thank you for your patience. |

Well you see it's one of those funny things when you don't have the actual shirt in-hand to compare to newer shirts in-hand. There's also the consideration that computer monitors are not an accurate means to compare color to scanned or colorized images from t-shirt manufacturers. Even print catalogs aren't 100% true to color. Another factor is even tying to match a t-shirt dye color that was available almost 30 years ago, not to mention what it looked like before fading. There's also trying to get specific shirt color that allow for larger sizes. I think given those variables, 'close' is just fine.
I suppose I could have spent more time purchasing shirts to evaluate, but then I would have had to charge a lot more for end result. I had already had to send the first batch of shirts back because they were way inaccurate, which cost money as well as time lost.
Hope that puts things in perspective. Thanks anyway. |
