Just another thing I wanted to let you guys know.
I tried some aluminum black on my offworld
receiver and it works.Just make sure if you do it to
strip all the old paint off first. The finish looks like
a bluish black color.

Hirohawa, here's some pics of the plates I'm
machining for you.One is still the raw block of
aluminum and the other is one with the radius
put on.It still is in raw form.No tapers or sanding
or polishing yet.I just thought you and the others
would like to see the different processes that go
into machining just one plate.

Wait! You cut the receiver out of metal, and then Painted it? Or are you just talking about the black parts? I am confused.

Andy the receiver is made of two pieces and
and it would show unless I fill it and paint it.
My 9x20 lathe has a broken belt and my 7x10
is too small to machine it in one piece.Hope that
clears it up. Very Happy

Tain669 I suppose it is possible.I'm not sure how his guns
are put together and I sure dont want to step on Mr. Coyles toes
but yes I think that a good number of parts could be machined
for those particular props.

I would like to get a buttplate. That's the one part that REALLY bothers me on the offworld gun.

Guys, tell me if I'm seeing things wrong.Does the outer
gripframe and the end of the receiver look too far
apart and if so why?Is it the back of the frame where it
narrows down to the grip to long or something else? Its something
that just kind of bothers me.

Guys, just to let you all know I'm trying to keep
shipping of all parts to Tuesdays to save on gas
costs so the best time to order parts is early in the week.

Thanks,
Don
