Rich's Worldcon Metal is pretty decent and, I think, worth the price. In time, it should be worth more.

Rich is building me another one right now, in fact he is probably done. I shared with him some data from the original, screen used blaster and he stated that he was able to make two more improvements on the gun. That's how Rich is...when he gets more details he incorporates it into his product.

He did not disclose what two improvements he made, but I did share alot of info on the inside and outside of the gun via closeup photos. As soon as my new, improved and improved more Very Happy Coyle Worldcon Metal Blaster arrives I'll post pics and share details.

Rich is shipping today. Here is what he said about the improvements:

As for all the changes: your last model to this:

Redid the grips to clear up a slight depression.

New all Steel Barrel which for the first time is a .44 bore and better look.

Reshaped the left side cover and cleaned up right cover.

Changed Receiver front screw mounts from milled slot to plan counter sunk hole.

Tighter control of finish and fit.

The info I sent him also helped him redo parts of the ammo box (the screws, I think), the bobbed ejector rod, and the side screw/ammo box alignment or spacing.

I am so looking forward to getting this guy.

Hi eltee

I'd love to hear your thoughts when you receive the blaster. I'm considering a Coyle, but for his price, I really want the fit and finish to be solid, and the details to be nailed (if not spot on).

Thanks much

Yes. Something wrong on my end or the server end?

Sorry for the multiple posts, everyone. Sad

Yeah, it's been giving an error message when you post - but it still posts it.

The error message is:

Ignore the error message for now guys. I am not sure if Amish knows about the issue yet. I PM'ed him but I may have to call him about it. In the mean time I will try to clean up the multiple posts.

I am glad to hear that Rich is finally fixing the stuff I have been telling him about for years. Maybe all my yelling at him has finally paid off.

Yup - hope Rich updates the Worldcon part of his website when he is done:

http://www.racprops.com/issue7/br_take_5/index.php

His last update was May 28, 2009, so I'm assuming that the new modifications are since then.
