				| Dear Santa,
If you have access to other clothes, try to take pics of :

 Ripley's underwear !
   Sneakers
 Belts
Racal headset (lot of red markings on those)
 Pens (on shirts)
 Kane's full size burial shroud

Just in case you'd stumble on those :

 Nostromo mug
Drinking birds (would love to see what's written on front of the hats)
 Infirmary tools
 Brett's electrical sticks
MUTHUR access panel (and Key, like the one that sold on propstore.com)
BALAJI pack of cigarettes (my personal HOLY GRAIL !)
 Parker's mastermind game
 Fire extinguishers (cockpit)
 Big orange lamps (cockpit)
 Set blueprints
 Sir Ridley's storyboards

See what you can do... Thanks mate !

 Fred

				| The Blade Runner stunt he has would be top on my list ...
Of course anything from ALIEN, especially the Giger ALIEN head. The Nostromo pistols and Holsters.

Of course absolutely everything Bob has in his "basement" I could spend all day looking at just one item.

				| Stephen, when it comes to what kind of stuff Bob owns you simply shoot and ask questions later
That "prod" would be a nice addition in any collection

I googled a site and there is some guy who is talking about Buck rogers and looks like he acted in some B-movies... is this the same guy? and if so, What is his part in ALIEN? I dont see anything in the credits. I may be missing something here.. | |

				| If I may advise...
Bring reference materials. Something to put in the photos for scale and color reference is key. I use the "QPCard" gray scale cards, but a full color calibration card would be best. A gridded notepad will be good for small items.

PRACTICE with the camera you are going to use. Time will be tight, and the minutes will fly by faster than you think. Practice thinking in terms of "orthographic" views: which angles capture the "true form" of an object? What happens if I move the camera a few inches? Do not be afraid to move both camera and object you're photographing.

If your camera has a "macro" setting, learn to use it to get sharp closeups.

Lighting is key. Bring a flash, but learn to use the flash "off axis" in order to not flood the subject with light (that is, hold the light off to the side rather that flashing it from the same angle as the camera lens).

Also be aware of backgrounds. One of my big regrets in the Blade Runner gun shots, is that I didn't take into account that the gun was usually sitting on a glass display case, making the background of each photo very busy and distracting. Put the object on the floor or on a sheet of paper to get a clean background if possible..

Bring a ruler and calipers, and take copious notes if you can. Also consider bringing a laptop computer and a cheap flatbed scanner, so you can get "true" orthographic views with no distortion. Try to include a ruler and color reference in the scans as well. Bring a white handkerchief or cloth to use as a backdrop for scans and photos.
