Great work... and these shots really make us realize the truly epic size and proportions of that ship !

One other piece of constructive suggestion: given the Beaufort Scale hurricane winds generated on take-off/landing, what do you think about some kind of blast shields or other Saturn V launch pad diversion style channels on the perimeter of the landing flat?

Good idea, it would then be very close to the launch pad seen in OUTLAND !

Sounds good to me! Need to finish the ship, then I'll start in on the landing pad. (love the Outland shuttle too, it's on my short list of upcoming projects.) |

Right!
Another suggestion: perhaps suggest the landing lift used by the crew to access the ship?

Great stuff for sure, love the scale ref of placing a human on or next to that space ship! Beside that, great suggestions from our band of Alien fans...keep up the great work |

Happy Weekend everyone, here is a gift for you. I know I'm not done with the model, but I thought you might like a new wallpaper for your computers... Here's the small version:

Nice! From the foreground figure's posture, and the distance ahead of him, I get a strong vibe of "damn that's a long hike"!!!
Keep up the great visualizations! |

Nice. Keep at it.
Any more progress on your bridge?
Have been trying to do a bit more on my Nostromo mess/galley. Not quite up to speed yet.
Hope to post some stuff in the New year.
Anybody have any more thoughts on the level above "A" Deck?
Happy Holidays...

Very, very nice! Looks like one of the designs proposed by Cobb for the Nostromo (and very Prometheus also ) |
