Good costume and the accessories are A+. Only "off" thing is the tie; it's too long and should not pass the belt buckle...just my 2cents |

Ive done my head in looking for that belt Andy, had flashbacks of Gaffs bowtie, will keep looking though.
joberg, your right about the tie, Im 6 foot five inches tall and the dummys
only five foot something, or is that the other way around, anyway, its for display so i`ll adjust it. The tie is very fragile, so i wouldnt like to play with it much. _________________ Formerly offworld66 |

What style of belt did you use for your costume?
Whole piece looks great!

No probem O.B. Rachaels quality is always worth the wait.
Rustyn242, I got the belt at the same charity store i got the pants from,
$10 for them both. Its not the same as our mans in the film, you can go crazy looking for a specific belt in this world,
but it is brown, good enough. _________________ Formerly offworld66 |
Thanks Joan, if you were local, Id let you play with it, its like a big action figure
offworld66, I know I'm showing up late for the party, but I just wanted to take a moment and pay my respects to you on you AMAZING Collection. I have much to learn from you, sir!
But for now, I'll just be slack-jawed in admiration (and wish I lived nearer to where you are so that I could see some of this stuff in person - if, as you suggested above, you'd be gracious enough to open your door to a fan).
On the more serious subject of where you are - Australia, I assume - are you anywhere near these fires I'm hearing about? There are reports of a number of fires that are out of control in the bushland area near Victoria - specifically two towns: Marysville & Kinglake (and while I realize Australia is a fair size larger than, say, Nova Scotia... if you ARE in Australia, I still feel I should say, with all sincerity... I hope all is well with you and yours.)
All the Best,
Mitch |

Thank you for your very kind words Mitch, i am truely humbled. Your in the right place as everything ive learned and produced about Blade
Runner, has come from here, propsummut.
In regards to the situation here, i am in an outer suberb of Melbourne and am under no direct threat but less than an hours drive from me, hell exists on earth, it has been our greatest national peace time tradjedy.
The towns you mentioned, Marysville and Kinglake exist now in name only, there is nothing left. I am just thankfull that i have the luxury to
indulge myself with this distraction, the loss here many people have experienced and the extent of destruction is quite overwhelming.
Many thanks again Mitch
Tim. _________________ Formerly offworld66 |

I'm sure I speak for everybody here: our thoughts are with our Aussie friends caught in this terrible tragedy. I hope that normal life will prevail again soon for everybody involved. |

When Megs superb shirt arrived it meant that i could complete this project
and im very happy with the way it turned out.
Not long ago, came across a linen blazer that i got for a few dollars and for an extra 20 had it dyed the light orange based on the auction pic of the original. Its not 1oo%
accurate but the herringbone pattern is identicle to the original. Definately need to build a perspex case for this now.

Incredible display Tim! Now, as you probably know, putting all this under perspex is quite a costly endeavour. A+ overall |

Many thanks all.
joberg, it shouldnt be too expensive.I would have to make it myself to
keep costs down but it only needs 4 sheets of thin perspex, 4 wooden corner columns, a wooden plynth, box top and some hinges.
It would only be a dust and bug stopper and nothing too elaberate. It would break my heart if i had to put Freds jacket and the extra shirt in a boring wardrobe. _________________ Formerly offworld66 |
