Well, there are versions available in 22LR, and 38 special as well, they're just not called "bulldog", but it's the same design. They're called the pathfinder, and the undercover.

I've been mulling over getting a 38 spec. "undercover" for some time now because they can be had for less than a bulldog, and seem to be built on the same frame.

Noeland,

They do look alike, but I found out that there are slight differences among Charter calibers & models. Here is some of what I know:
