|
|
Alright folks here's yet another incredibly rare Blade Runner prop... sigh.
Throughout Deckards apartment you can catch glipses of a round sphere cage thing on a stand.
This is called a "Banker's Fan" and was made in the 20's and 30's. The idea behind the Banker's Fan is that it's an omni-directional fan that would be less likely to blow you papers of your desk.
Here is the correct model-
It has no brand name on it but this style is VERY rare and usually sells in the 200-400 dollar range depending on condition.
Similar and slightly more common (but incorrect for Deckard's apartment) is a Banker Fan made by a company called "Savory Airator".
It's close but lacks the ring around the middle section which can be seen in the film.
This thing is stupid expensive and collected by antique dealers so I have given up trying to nab one on the 'bay.
Hope you guys enjoy this.

Well, seems like an ebay guy wanna be rich selling one of this, for $849.99 !!!!
look for "bank teller fan" and will pop-up.
In the other hand, I found this interesting repair parts for antique fans:

Just for repairing the "cheap" fan. Oh, I didin't say that needs a repair????
