If you have managed to get the slightly longer (more accurate) length, I'm in for one as well!

From the information I’ve gathered so far looks like 4" is the correct length. Naturally as the SidKit version is a bit over scaled ill be adding a bit on to make it appear a bit longer based on the hero prop photos. Believe me I wan it looking right for the 2 im building too
In addition the Sidkit barrel has a short tang on the back end to fit into a receiving socket in the bulldog frame. I’m adding this to provide just a bit more rigidity. For those of you that want just the flat back end I’m sure I can do a few. Naturally, Id prefer not to do too many versions but Id like to be as accommodating as possible.
Right now I’m looking at $45.00 per with an additional amount for shipping depending on if its international or here in the states. Ill post a signup list in the propshop thread as soon as I have the first 20 which should be later this week if I can make it into the shope a few nights. Ill post photos as I go along cause its fun and Id like everyone to see how its moving along.
All the best!

I'm interested in one. I've got a Coyle in kit form that I got off of theRPF, but the mounting holes are not placed right, so I've been considering replacing it. |

I have the first 20 bored chamfered and cut to length. I plan on getting th mounting holes all drilled tomorrow and tapped this weekend. The front post will be early next week.

I agree with Staar. Great job but the barrel should be alittle bit longer as compared to the original. With this slight improvement, I'd buy one for sure. When do you think they'll be available and whats your contact info? |

The girl brought home a cold and being the nice guy I am I didn’t want her to be the only one enjoying it. A cloudy head and big machinery seem like a bad combo so I haven’t done anything this week. I hope to get back to them this next week.
I just need to machine some holes and get them tapped and 20 will be good to go. I promise Ill post a signup list as soon as the first set is ready.
all the best!

Thanks for the complement. Nope I’m a hobbyist machinist at best. My day job is visual FX for film but its ever so nice to step away from the computer and do something a bit more tangible now and again.

Haha wow - I'd be in for a couple of butt plates too! You keep this up and you'll have your own kit on the market |

So The last two days in the shop have been productive. I have 25 barrels almost ready to go. I only need to drill the 2 side machine screw holes and tap them. The The larger m6 screw hole was drilled and tapped tonight. Im pleased as all of the holes are blind, meaning unlike the SidKit barrel you will not see the screws protrude into the bore. For those of you Picking up rich's kit (I am) you may want to pick up a barrel or wait till it comes out as I may want to make slight adjustments once I see the fit. Either way its nice to have a mill on hand to do the drilling and tapping. It makes getting everything true a hell of a lot easier.
Ill post photos soon.
-Michael
P.S. The stand off posts are done as well.

So if the sidkit's bolts are too long, they won't screw into your barrel? Or are you including those too? |

Glad to hear your making the screw holes "blind". That was another one of the things that bothered me abit with Sidkit's version, besides the incorrect barrel bore. Looking really forward to getting one when they're done! Great work Michael! |
