Actually, they mention in Disc 4 that they did!
The motif used throughout the film was a Mexican tile they found in Union Station. It became a running theme even to using the Ennis Brown house.
Nice work BTW. I had no idea how complex this costume was! Have you found any information about the silk blouse that went with that dress? |

Megan informs me that she quite simply had no interest in trying to replicate a silk blouse that was never seen.
The Blouse worn underneath the White/Grey striped dress was seen NOT the blouse worn under the Black Dress.
She did however find a silk blouse that she already had and wore it underneath the Black Dress.

Thanks photek!
I would incourage you to post her at her new myspace page:
http://www.myspace.com/361131690
She's very responsive to serious inquiries and can usually give you the option of providing a pattern and tips for construction OR actually making the dress for half up front, balance upon completion.
It's good that you are interested in the Black Dress as she's worked out all the details for it. I have offered to buy the material for her if she will make the other Racheal Dress but so far she's been too busy to take me up on it. I'll post pics if she changes her mind! |

now that I have a day each week freed up to sew, I will be working up a pattern for each of the garments I have been working on. And a blouse pattern would definately be part of that.
I am also constructing a solid 'wait-list' for garments, and propsummit peeps get first dibs. I definately, absolutely take requests!!
However, I am thinking that the blouse would go with the tri-color suit she wears to Deckard's apartment (along with that wonderful coat!) since we never see what is under the black suit. I just wore a silk 40's era blouse that I had lying around. Because my goal is to have a wardrobe from every decade, counting at 1810.
As always, screen caps are greatly appreciated, along with shots of screen-used and descriptions from auctions/owners of the hero props. _________________ Is this testing whether I'm a Replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard? |

Hi Rachael,
Did you ever think about making Deckard shirt(s) ?...And his brown-orange jacket ? They would certainly be awesome stuff to fit with your wonderful Deck's trench !!...to complete the outfit !!!

to answer your question: yes!
I did make Deckard's black shirt; I think there are pics on here somewhere. If not, i can post. And I am currently drafting a pattern for the jacket/blazer/sport coat. I have some reference pics for it, and fishing for more. _________________ Is this testing whether I'm a Replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard? |

Does anyone have clear pictures of the back of Rachael's blue coat? |
