				| Hi folks, I've been a silent admirer for a while, absolutely love this site. Such an invaluable collection of information. I spend a lot of time on the facebook page. I recently ordered a label set from buffyprops on etsy and wondered if anyone on here has purchased from them and if they were satisfied customers?

				| Ahhh! Hi Ross
I have this label set, and had no problems with the seller.

These labels were made for the first run of Johnnie Walker bottles many years ago (the Chinese ones, very rare these days, known as the Oncebitten bottle or simply OB bottle), and are different from Sarednab's label - primarily they're not as glossy.

The man behind the original bottle run, and behind Buffyprops, is no longer a member here though.

				| Ah that's very interesting to hear. I have one of Sarednabs bottles but have had some misfortune with the labels. I intentionally refrained from putting the label on the cap provided and kept it in an envelope while I sourced a better cap. When I finally got one I couldn't find the envelope and I've just noticed that I must have spilt something on the main label as the word whisky has rubbed off completely. It was such a relief to find Buffyprops as these sets are like gold dust. Looking forward to seeing the difference between them now and good to know you are a satisfied customer aswell Buch, thanks mate. | |

				| For that same reason (and because I'm a bit of a hoarder!) I like to keep doublets....
Here they are... they're expensive, I know, but they're also top of the line. They actually look just like real labels, and not like stickers, decals, etc.

				| They do look great, the red seals also look more authentic. I had presumed that Sarednab label sets were sourced from Buffyprops but clearly not. | |

				| Aren't these "Once Bitten's" labels who did the original glass bottle run from back in the day? | |

 Yes, they are

He still sells the labels on Etsy under the company name "Buffyprops".

And, as I sort of hinted at, the original run of bottles wasn't without controversy, hence him not being a member here anymore. That being said I still bought the labels from him without any kind of problems whatsoever.
