				| Hi Guys, My name Randy Neubert from VoodooFX & I am working with Dream Studios on there new up & coming 1.1 scale VK Machine prop kit. Dream Studios has commissioned me to create a lighting system in a two style electronics kit, A Standard light system only, B Advanced light with sound and motor control. My question to the form is has anyone targeted the sounds from the VK machine yet? and if so please pm any details. Thanks Randy. _________________

				| Randy, welcome and interesting project you'll tackle there...no sounds grabs were made, AFAIK, by any one of our members.
As you saw, I'm sure, lots of V.K. projects being made right now.
LearnByMaking is getting close to have a fully working prop, but hasn't talked about sounds yet.

				| Thanks for the heads up, not a problem. I will study the sound effects and recreate my own where needed. Randy _________________

				| I've looked into the sounds of the VK a bit (and would prefer to not use per-recorded sound bites). The arm raise and extension seem to be mechanical sounds from the actual movment, though the pitch is higher than the sounds my motors make. The other sounds, primarily turning the machine on and off seem similar to 8 bit sound effects from video games at the time. The remaining sound effect, when the screens turn off, seems more like standard white of pink noise (basically static - for those who remember "Broadcast" TV vs Cable TV). _________________

				| Thanks for the input, I am considering trapping my own audio effects & making my own custom loops. My sound player can be easily changed to play different effect, Leon interview, short snippets or memorable lines, sound tracks or just the machine sounds only. I have a great sound sample of the bellows, once I get the sound loop developed I will share it with the group. Randy _________________
