				| Hi all, This may not be the most "PC" topic, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a source for that odd yellowish looking maize cigarette paper.
I was thinking of doing some "stunt" smokes for my Boyards pack.

				| I think it's a great idea. I was contemplating the same thing the other day, whilst contemplating making a Boyard's cig pack. | |

				| Hi Nexus, Do you have Kevin's awesome Boyards artwork? It's on this page:

 http://www.propsummit.com/viewtopic.php?t=231&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=40

On the next page are some images of the Boyards packs I put together. They really look excellent when complete, and make for a cool little display item for your BR collection.

I guess I'll look up some smoke shops here in town and see if I can find any that sell maize papers. I can find plenty of cigarette papers on line, but it's hard to find any that give any sort of info about color or anything.

As a matter of fact, I DO have the pix. I just haven't tried printing/assembling yet...

Are you planning to make real (smokable if one were so inclined) cigarettes, or just some type of mock-up?

				| Well, I am a smoker. . . (waits for everyone to grab the pitchforks and torches) so I'd probably actually try one or two.
And you really should take a little time to put the Boyards box together! I did a "test" box on plain ol' construction paper to make sure I had my printer set properly, then I did two of them on some heavier art paper. It's a nice piece to add to a collection! And it's pretty easy to do.

				| I think there are rolling papers made of Industrial Hemp that have that color. No, not the psychoactive kind. There is a difference. I suppose they can be found at your local "smoke shop." IYKWIM... _________________

				| I just ordered some maize rolling papers, and an adjustable diameter roller, I am going to play around with it when they get here, hopefully I'll be able to get an authentic look. I'll post some pics when I get some rolled. _________________

				| Ok, I got the papers, and they are pretty disappointing. They are made from corn, and are slightly yellow, but don't really look like the Boyards or Gitanes papers...
Luckily they were darn cheap. I wonder if maize papers from Brazil are better, and how to get my hands on some...

Smoking brand Papel Maiz. If any one is interested. I got mine for $0.80 a pack.

I have found another potential option though, I will let you guys know when THOSE come in.
