|
|
Hi all, for a bit now I have been scrounging the internet for Spinner reference pictures and have a whole lot but what I could really use is any hi res blurprints that are as close to the final build as there is. Do these exist? I am trying to replicate the cockpit as close as possible for a VR thing I'm messing around with but the cockpit seems to be the most overlooked of the props when it comes to reference material.
Any help is appreciated!
Here is a shot from my quick test with some bits blocked out:
Thanks! |

there was some for sale but I have never found a copy in a good high rez for download. I looked through my photos and every car has a different dash. |

As far as I'm aware there are no detailed design prints that show the cockpit of the "process" car. Wish there was. I'd love to see them too. |

These are the only blueprints I've ever seen and, as you can see, the resolution is a bit poor.

Thanks
Is there an interest on this forum for getting accurate details of the cockpit for future reference or have I missed an old thread?
And does anyone have the dimensions of the walkie talkie? |

Those are not the only ones you have ever seen. They are mine as in I own this one and I have never seen an identical print. There are others out there that are much more common. The problem with many of them is that they had different purposes, including building the full scale spinners, as well as the models. The only spinner that had the control panels would have been the cockpit section that was used for filming the actors in the spinners. I will look to see if it exists, but I do remember seeing it. Mine was an early overall view. It was updated, and many more were as well. They each had different numbers as part of a set for each purpose.

Here is one of the best I could find focusing on the cockpit, not sure if it is a help or not though.

Thanks guys, I'll probably start an Imgur album of all the references I have collected as well.
Still does anyone know the measurements of the General Electric's Recon-1 Walkie Talkie? |

If I'm not mistaken, Tim (Mr Webber) had that walkie-talkie. |

Here's a video of how far I have gotten in the recreation. It had to go on the back burner for now though but thanks for the help.

Great work! TFS with us and this would be great on a VR platform for sure.

Yeah, lol... temp model and there's a really bad Han Solo sitting in the other seat. Spinner frame is half of what I found online for most of it, cockpit is what I've modeled so far. |
