Damn, apparently they only sell it within UK. I'm from France, and it says "does not ship to France" Sad
I would really be interested in one....

Ok, news: Forbes magazine has part of the info: UK: 5000 bottles, Canada: 2000, US: 27000 and only in 15 states.

I'm sure there's more to the story, but so far that's it. Nothing concerning mainland Europe.

There's only 39000 bottles for distribution Worldwide...I don't know if they'll restrict a certain amount of bottles per person. In Canada, it's supposed to be released on the 20th of September, but so far the Liquor Board hasn't heard anything about it.

I know, it's on Amazon UK but nothing in US/CND yet.

Apparently restricted to one buy per Amazon account...

I was wrong about the use of the old label, same as the retail bottle but without the Directors Cut. There`s also a difference between the retail bottle and the screen used bottles top and caps.

A picture of the screen used version is on the retail box. Already trying to think of ways to get the correct label and top section, cant help it.
Some Tamiya matt black should fix the logo issue on the bottom.

Forbes and the Toronto Sun say 2000 bottles will be released in Canada. My local liquor store is #4 in the province for whiskey sales and they're looking into it for me.
The largest private store in town tells me it's not available in Canada.
I've emailed Johnnie Walker directly for any information. I'll pass along any info I may receive.
If someone in the states is able to find some, I would happily compensate that person for the time and trouble.

Given that D.Villeneuve is from the Province of Quebec, the S.A.Q (Societe des Alcools du Quebec...sorry for our French speakers, but I don't have access to a French key-board Crying or Very sad ) has no info on that particular product Confused

So, it seems that Canada will miss the boat on that one (as for other products/events as well Evil or Very Mad )

The Eagle (Owl?) has landed....

Due to PhotoBucket being a nuisance, posted full hi-def pics over at the RPF.

WOW Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Thank you for sharing those awesome photos! You must be one of the very first to receive it?

Better or worse than expected?

Nice with the protective film.... are you going to take it off? Or keep it?

Hoping my bottle will make it all the way to Denmark Neutral

Just bought one on Amazon Germany, for 90 Euros. It's less expensive than I thought.

While searching, I came across a German site which seems to be a sort of archive for bottle labels, and guess what their newest entry is...

I think I'm one of the first to actually have one of these bottles in my hands. I haven't really had time to examine it in great detail but I'd say it meets my high expectations. I'll be taking the plastic off soon and testing the contents. Very Happy

Thinking of offering a service where I provide empty bottles after draining their contents. Shipping alcohol overseas is nigh on impossible!

Hope you receive yours soon, Anders. I'm sure you'll end up with a bottle, even if it's an empty one.

That's a terrific service

Happy to hear that it meets your expectations!

Yes, I've read that shipping alcohol is a pain in the ****. I saw a company called TNT; they advertised that they'll ship just about anything. I'm willing to go to great lengths to get the bottle full when it comes to shipping costs, but ultimately I'll just refill an empty bottle. At least the kind people who bought the bottle for me will have a fun time re-packing it... Cheers!
