Alright, getting there: affixed the ears...about the ears, I've PMed Mark (Yeogybear on the RPF and on his DeviantArt pages)if it was possible for me to re-cast (I know, I don't like the word either) his ear (I bought it on his Etsy page, 2 years ago).

He graciously gave me the permission to do so (with, of course, some strict demands; which I proposed to him).

Soooo, since you know how crazy I am in terms of "Bigatures" I decided, against my GF best interests Rolling Eyes to build a dio for my 1/6 EVA Pod.

What saved me from divorce is that the dio will only be 1/3 of the Discovery Pod Bay Crying or Very sad Wink

Here's the door and the rim already in place.

Way much more to come of course!!

Thanks Colin...yes, that door was a whole exercise in layering the different thickness of the design, fun for sure. Cannot wait to fill the little cracks and blemishes and then paint it!

Thanks Colin...actually, I'm running into problems of scale (and details)...I'll have to re-evaluate the dio entirely Crying or Very sad Some of my build just doesn't feel right compared to the pics I have.

Stay tuned while I'll perform major surgery on that sucker!

Thanks Bwood...I used a shiny piece of transparent plastic (yes, I collect plastic boxes that were containers of cookies, chocolates, etc).
Painted the background black and affixed it on top.

There's the Eva Pod project again. This time, thanks to DaveG on the RPF giving me the 3-D file he made for the arms (wonderful, crazy details on these for sure!) I finally "finished" the model (I still have to do the decals and then I'll call it done).
