But what KIND of label is it originally?
I took the liberty to post this in a forum for Chinese language, hoping they will be able to translate it...
EDIT: Here it is....

And the break down (quote from forum):
"五加皮酒 a kind of distilled liquor (Baijiu) with medicinal herbs (root bark of Eleutherococcus gracilistylus, etc.)

This is the label in the translator's link - similar, but probably newer/international version OR the English letters have simply been cut out of the movie labels AND replaced by blue background:

And check out the the prop label. It's super wrinkled and they just made color copy stickers of a single label that was peeled of an original bottle of Wu Chia Pi Chiew.
The original bottle is super bulbous and the label is applied in a wrinkled style-
The blue is definitely the words simply cut out from the label and a lined paper placed behind.
Great call on figuring this out! |

Perhaps this goes on the bottle neck? The pattern fits....
