Hello! My friend and I are machining these steel sight rods for your blaster! They are going to be in production soon and I'm not sure how much yet but I am posting to see if there woukd be any interest!?! I haven't been on here for awhile but I am back occasionally and am working on more steel parts that will be machined and hand finished...stay tuned we are working hard in CAD as I type! Cheers!

The left one is steel...the right is a leftover piece I had from Richard Coyle...thanks Richard!! 😊 |

What about the receiver bolt rod? Any plans for those? _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

Hey darthwolf,
I can't thank you enough for doing these parts in steel and for all the hard work that you're putting into each part. Are you using a real Steyr Receiver to model from so these parts will be compatible?
OK, the best and most accurate Blasters available are obviously made by:
1) Rich Coyle (RAC Props)
2) Tomenosuke
Considering Rich used a real Steyr Receiver to model from, your receiver parts should work flawlessly with his cast receiver?
Also, I really, really hope you consider making steel outer grip frames!? Threading never holds up and always end up stripping out when they're made from diecast pot metals. Making those in steel would be the ultimate Godsend!!! Thank you. _________________ Damion: ogrotesque1 |

The Steyr is the next section we are gonna work on. Its gonna be a bit before this all goes into a production phase but once we have the parts all in CAD we will start to mill multiple parts and get them to people...thanks for the interest and stay tuned...we got the first barrel machines today and it's looking great. Photos soon.... |

To be fair...my friend is the one doing the hard work machining the parts...I just have some decent knowledge of the blaster and am helping him with the project...he's very excited about this but I also do not want to take credit for his work...hopefully, he'll be showing me how to do all of this too...cheers everyone. |

After you finish with all the parts and the run is over you should really consider uploading all the CAD files to shapeways site so people can still get the parts they want made through the site? It's a really cool site and you have the option to order the parts in many different materials including different metal alloys. You'll make a percentage of every part that is sold on your store page too and the Blaster is not on that site whatsoever yet! Believe me, ive looked into it. If I knew about CAD I would do it, but i dont so.... you could make a nice extra chunk of change even after your run is completed! Just FYI. Very excited about this, thanks again darthwolf! _________________ Damion: ogrotesque1 |

Obviously they'll be cleaned up and the machining marks will not be present etc...once I have things nailed down and we go into production I'll make a list of who wants what and try to accommodate everyone as efficiently as possible... Cheers! |
