This is the kind of build thread I've always wanted to see of a shooter: soup to nuts with the original hardware. I've always been disappointed that Adam Savage wasn't able to document his own build more thoroughly, but this is even better because by making a shooter you're building something even closer to the original than his (already magnificent) piece! Truly stunning work.

Hey Gary, any updates!?
I just finally was able to find a real SL in .222 Rem Rifle for an insanely low price on the Guns International site. After everything on that is machined it'll be going on my next Live-Fire.
I just recently finished this Tomenosuke Live-Fire Conversion on a Blaster Pro Assembly Kit I was able to purchase through a mutual Blaster enthusiast and friend on the forums! I used the Blued Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special for the mounting base. It really came out beautifully and I'm so happy with it! Here's some photos:
