The thought of building a real shooter has crossed my mind several times. I pretty much decided not to do it because I want to keep my props and real firearms completely separate. God forbid a shooter prop shoulder get mistaken for a fake one. If I ever do decided to convert a real gun I would do what Adam Savage did, have the revolver de-armed by a licensed gunsmith so that there would be no way it could ever chamber or fire a live round.
Adam also had that done to his Smith & Wesson 44 HE2, Indiana Jones' gun from Raiders, so he could display it and never have to worry about an accident.

A little bit of progress on the Ross' Supressor for the Snubby. The barrel adapter arrived from the 3D printer.
Of course a metal blaster deserves a metal supressor, so... I'm machining a second one from cold rolled steel.
