I wanna use this real vintage weaver knob in my new blaster build...

But I need to figure out the drill and tap size for the thread in inches...

I got these measurements but apparently I don't understand the different tables online... can any body help? I need the correct drill and tap size in inches...

Problem is those numbers do not match up to any real size or thread.

.1645 the closes is .1614 = 1/4 inch or .1654 which = nothing or 4.2MM.

4.17MM is that...

So the closes is .1653 inch 4.2mm is for a 5mm-0.90mm

OR under sizing it, the next screw below the above is: DRUM ROLL:

10/32 tap drill bit #21

AND that is what I use for those screws.

Rich
