Man, years ago its all I ever searched for on all the ebays around the world all the time. Then hooked up with rinkya.com and plugged in to the Japanese market, my head exploded.

Not so much nowadays, try to limit it to specific items for new projects that come up. They cop a lot of flac, some well deserved, but if it wasn't for ebay I really wouldn't have a collection at all.

Been with a company, rinkya.com for a few years and they act as middle men to purchase any item in Japan and ship it to you for a very reasonable fee.

Got this Colt Walker 1847 Josie Wales special direct from Hartford Japan, the makers, recently and saved a fortune over the few that were available in overseas retailers.
The amount of stuff for Blade Runner, Mad Max and Robocop fans is unreal over there.

I used to check once a day. The best way to do it it is to spend the first day going through every auction. If you have a good connection set it to list 200 at a time. You will be able to scroll past a lot of common stuff quickly and zip though most of the postings. Also start checking using "newly listed" first, so at some point you only have to see what ever was posted since you last checked.
