Amazing how it takes sooooo long for such things to come to light.

Loving the spinner with guns and the roof garage with so many colorful spinners.

The cargo truck, where was that in the film?

Very cool Andy. Unbelievable detail.

I didn't think the armed spinner got past the drawing stage, I get why they were dropped but would have looked mean as.
There`s a tremendous heritage to draw upon if the new production is based on this fashion of making movies for sure. Interstellar has shown it can still be done.

You can use Chrome. Right-click and choose 'inspect element'. You'll have to drill down through some tags, but you will eventually find the url:

I read the story there was a model builder wanted an X-Wing of his own and was doing a personal build if memory serves.
And also his unfinished Falcon eneded up as a building in the film. LOL

I was able to download them all at once into a zip file.
There is a download option on the right on top.

Andy, that's just plain incredible. I'd be curious to know how long these had been floating around before anybody paid them much attention..

TFS Andy...Bill George was the model maker who did the X-Wing and and his partial MF served as a background building in the movie.

Beautiful pics and lots of info abound in there...including the V.K. machine (last 2 pics). Around the table: Marc Stetson and leaning on his elbow, none other than Mike Fink Shocked Cool

Those pics should be archived Wink

Great find. They look so pristine as if shot today. I like the shot of all the spinners atop Tyrell Corp.

Finally there are more pictures of the lobster spinner! It is interesting to see the models unpainted with all the kit parts on it. I love the X-Wing in the back.

BTW, have you noticed there are photos of the Lobster Spinner finished either in Yellow and in Red (similar hue to the Alfa Romeo). I wonder which version got filmed.

For anyone else who stumbles across this, I can confirm the link is still good and the images available as of today.
