This was actually made in a real video game called Shadowrun. There were also 2 real Blade Runner video games. One made for the C64 and Spectrum 48k, and one made By Westwood for the PC. It also is much better than 8bit (Atari 2600 style), but at least 16bit. Still think it would have been a fun game, and makes me want to see if I can get a Shadowrun emulator somewhere. I remember that game slightly, and remember it having some BR references in it. Maybe this video just collected them together.

I have the PC version.

Never played it, was told it was slow and not just a shooter.

The Westwood game was a pretty good point and click adventure game combined with the some 3D stuff, but it wasn't a First person Shooter at all. It was a pretty big hit in it's time and the best Blade Runner methadone we had at the time.
