I think the appropriate white suitcase with that one could add to the "creepy" factor. |
Excellent, JB !!!
Awesome progress on these last pics you have just posted... Thi replca is going to be something once completed ! (in Medical white or Blad eRunner unit grey and black)
Go JB, GO !!!

Merci Fred...I hope the colour I chose will be suitable for the whole look.
I'm going away from the normal grey colour and will go blue-ish grey (as seen on Bwood pics).
Now with the additional info Tom gave me on the logo, my work is cut-out for me |

Painting time people...this is the bottom of the V.K. Later on I'll make some labels for it: Tyrell Corp. Property. Do Not Open. Only Registered Tech with Aut# T19-B0110. Unauthorized use punishable by law.
Any other ideas guys?

Everything involved in precision tests are calibrated regularly and a sticker with when the next calibration is due is very common, usuallly yearly.
Often the techs initials or ID number are included.
Oh yeah, tamper stickers. I think we've all seen them, stickers that go across the access areas so if they are ever opened they will break.
You can expect that anything that determines life or death would be very heavily monitored for quaility and trustability. |

Liking the underside detail joberg. Looking forward to seeing the top with a coat of paint.
Would a Voight Kampff Machine be manufactured by or be the property of the Tyrell Corporation? Or would it be the creation of some independent body. Wouldn't Deckard's VK be the property of Rep Detect and the LAPD?
Just a thought.

Thanks Colin for the ideas...yes, possible of course; did Tyrell Corp. farmed a machine to another Corp./manufacture (IBM for example)?
I'm more inclined to go German on that one, for many reason: the name is very German, Tom provided the fonts on top of the machine (German fonts).
In the mean time, the arm is complete
The baffles and the 2 small screens box are also painted and done, now I'll have to spray the main prop and do a lot of taping because it's in 2 colours (black and grey-blue)...stay tuned.[img][/img] |

Merci beaucoup Fred I just finished the masking of the prop, and according to the research/pics the people of this board have done and posted, I was able to come up with a few details not seen in the movie. |

Here we go, fresh out of the oven . I respected the colour scheme that we've seen in Bwood/Nick/Tom's pics. Don't pay attention to the rear of the machine, the bellows are going on there.
Not finished yet, 3 white lill' buttons, the V.K. logo + the "drawer" and of course the light bars. Then, it's the putting all together moment.

Difficult to see the ribbing in the little "nook" at the right-hand side, but it's there (sorry for the lousy lighting and the not so good cam).

Thanks guys Today's schedule: removing the masking tape from all the screens, making the V.K. logo and applying it to the silver plaque and then putting it all together for an overall looksy |

Joberg I'm stunned, what an amazing build mate, absolutely gorgeous. I can't WAIT to see the next update!
As regards labelling, how about looking through these?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Electronics_companies_of_Germany
It's conceivable that one of these companies would be around in 2019 and be responsible for construction of the VK machine. |

Well, here's the set-up I was talking about earlier...a familiar form.
A few things will have to change: the logo on the face could be better for sure (I was too fast for my own good ) and the light-bars are missing as well as the buttons (I had some, but were too big).
