				| Very nice work and I am only concerned with the guys that make and sell whole blasters using my model to cut into my income...way too late now...
On the bolt: the real gun's bolt was solid with the cocking lever and turned and pulled back with the cocking lever.

What you did is close to the real steyr bolt but it still pulled back, just did not turn.

 VERY nice work.

Thanks. That's a real compliment coming from you.
I wasn't too sure what was "accurate" in this case? All I knew,
was I didn't like pulling back on the bolt. And looking into the raw
cavity of the receiver. It's boring & ugly. Not to mention.
How bad it rattled around once it was open.
Now it's nice smooth snug ride. Looks 10x better (IMO) and packs
on some more heft. 3 birds!!

Between my mods & the grip frame upgrade. This thing is no longer
a plastic toy. It weighs nearly as much as the MR Solo blaster new.
It's solid as a rock, and all the features are smooth & tight.

I'd love to put my skills to the test on some other styles. but that's
just a matter of patience I think?

 Coming soon: My barrel.

				| Some prep shots. How I pulled the old binding post. And custom fit the OW metal upgrade grip butt.

				| Hey Oz, just wanted to share mine. Hope that's okay. Like you, I got the upgrade kit. I stripped the chrome off the butt plate and applied a Scotchbrite pad to it. I've also taken her apart and painted the Styer and Bulldog frame and barrel with Tamiya Gunmetal Gray. I wanted to have a bit more contrast between the black sideplates and the gun metal. Obviously I'm going for an as issued look. But I DO get tempted to beat this guy up a bit. With all the metal, I'm really pleased with the feel of this thing. You CAN get a decent blaster for under $400
Can't wait to see your next upgrade!

150grit sandpaper, then a scotchbrite pad. It's not very thick. And if you've never sanded off chrome before, you'll first hit a layer of copper, then down to the steel.

It was pretty quick and simple. 20 minutes work.

				| Valor, Looks great! I really like the colors you chose. Honestly, you should buy my bolt piston. To look in the receiver slot,
and see metal. It's a world of difference.
Plus it adds weight, and sounds really cool when you cycle it.
I think it would be the finishing touch to yours.

				| Got it fitted & it looks great
Pretty straight forward to install in my metal receiver, took about 15mins

Adds weight & along with the Metal grip frame I really think it improves the look of the offworld

Managed to make a couple of tiny scratches on my receiver where I slipped with my screwdriver, oops

Maybe this will be the start of a weathering job

Sure that there will be more tinkering with this Blaster before I'm done

Would love to get a metal sight rod for it

Oz was a real gent to deal with

I'm working on that. I've got a lot on my plate @ the moment.
Hoping to find time to prototype one before June?
I'd like to offer a version w/ working green LED's.
