I do like the idea of shirts that look like a normal common promo T-Shirt, that only a true fan would get the context.

Whether your shirt (or costume) is "recognizable" or not, it's fans of the movie that'll get it or not. Case in point: I was wearing a Han Solo costume on Halloween (many years ago) and most of the people I encountered thought I was wearing a Royal Canadian Mounted Police uniform I'm still waiting for people to say something about my Nostromo shirt |
