Whats funny is I actually thought about the pen spring, and took 2 pens apart at work 
What kind of Pin would I need to use to the trigger to the frame? |

When I was producing this kit, I used 0.125" [3mm] dia. x 0.5" [13mm] L steel pins that I got online from McMaster Carr. You could just as easily use a small diameter nail custom cut to fit, as well.

Hi Rick -
Thanks to hirohawa I received the kit in the mail this morning!!
2 Working days from US to UK - Incredible 
Looks like the steel pins are present  so I won't need to go hunting for a substitute
My Dad is going to be so pleased with this when I've finished it!!
It's a great cast, loads of detail, just needs a little TLC to get it fit nice and snug - I'll post progress pics up during the build.

It fits together fairly well, even before sanding.
Although, I think I'm going to have to either create a deeper groove for the barrel to sit it, or shorten the barrel as atm, dry fitting it has it sticking out way to far |

| Will do mate - I'm going to be photographing the build step by step, both for the sake of passing on my experiences to the board, and to present to my Dad along with the blaster - so he can see how I achieved the end result. |

The V3 is my baby mate - I love it soooo much.
For the time being, it sits on a bed of bubble wrap inside one of the boxes you sent it with.
Got the acrylic case on order, a couple of stands from Andy - and i'll be ordering a back dated plaque from Mr Coyle on the 28th |

The one I have is very clean if you ask me.
Requires some sanding, and trimming of excess with a craft knife, but otherwise, it won't take much to get it to the painting stage. |

| The set I have has very few holes, the seller has filled and sanded any large defects before sending it out. There are very few air bubbles. There is a fair bit of flashing and over fill that can easily be cleaned back with a knife and some sanding. |

I was able to pick one of these up second hand, and it does look like from what I have seen is that he has improved his molding skills over time, and these have actually got better over time.
