				| The Mare's Leg (aka Mare's Laig) was a cut down Winchester 44/40 and is truly iconic for us geezers who grew up watching Wanted Dead or Alive and the Rifleman...yet another iconic weapon....but not nearly as cool as Josh Randals....but it took an Italian (Sergio Leone) to put exact replica's of period guns in his films...even the boots in his movies were period replica's. _________________

				| To be fair, the list isn't worded as being the top ten in order. It's just a collection that has been given numbers to organize it. At number one they say "we had to include this one" referring to the phaser.

I mean seriously, how could the PKD come in behind the noisy cricket?

				| These choices are an affront to the credibility of their website. From this point on, I will not be taking them so seriously. | |
