Tonight I was cleaning out my greeblie drawers, and found a few things of interest. If anyone with one of the new Tomenosuke V2s would like to make it film accurate, I have the slotted screw top and stem (still unpainted) from the V1 kits. While it would work on any blaster, I want to keep it in the family as it were. As such, it's free to a good home in the US (though if any one of the aforementioned parties would like to trade for a skirted tos phaser knob, that'd be awesome). |

Thanks

Actually the Tomenosuke PRO comes with the slotted screw as an option.

Sure, just because you revolutionized what everybody knows about the mysterious BR props (people forget the badges and IDs as well!), you get all the cool toys. |

If you have the Tomenosuke PRO, do not twist the screw to try to get it out!
The screw is secured internally, it will probably break off if you try to remove it by twisting. You will have to remove the "ammo clip" housing using allen wrenches (supplied, I think) and then you can take the screw out.
Photos by Nobutaka Toku, showing the process.

OK well I did not get any allens with my kit, but I have a set or two of my own. My problem is that small side scre from the first pic next to the weaver knob on the ammo box. NONE of my allens fit it. To big or too small so is it a custom size. Am I just missing 1 allen of of both my allen sets? If you can provide the size of the one you used that would be great.
Its been driving me nuts....bolts & screws
EDIT!!!!!!!! GOT IT! I used another mm set I had and worked fine!
3 is the charm I guess. |
